Crystal

2D Logo / Image

2D Logo / Image can be an internal or external laser engraving with no "depth" to the imprint. This method is achieved via surface etching /sandlblast or internal laser engraving. This method is great for logos, text or "flat" graphics.
Setup: $60.00(G).
Run Charge: $1.25(G)/pc.

3D Image

A 3D Image is an internal image with 3 dimensions that can be seen from any side of the crystal piece. This method is achieved via internal laser engraving. This method is great for 3D objects.
Setup: Quoted upon review of artwork.
Run Charge: $1.25 (G)/pc.

Color Expressions

Color Expressions is an external, full color image on a side of a crystal piece.
Setup: $60.00(G).
Run Charge: $6.25(G)/pc.

Pad Printing

A logo is etched into a plate where ink is then applied. A soft silicone pad is pressed down onto the plate and then reapplies the image directly onto a product. Advantages include image detail, immaculate registration of color, and ability to print on textured surfaces. Max of 3 spot colors allowed, artwork permitting. HIRSCH does not guarantee the life of a screen/pad print on writing instruments and key chains.

Laser Engraving

Process in which a logo is etched into a product, removing a thin layer of material from the surface. Advantages include resistance to weathering, high image detail, and variable data capability. Oxidation is available on products where indicated in catalog at no additional charge. Personalization is available for a surcharge (please contact factory for details). Where indicated in the catalog, some items include laser engraving, and are not subject to the run charge.
Standard Typesetting Fonts: Arial, Coronet, Helvetica, and Times New Roman.

4-Color Process

A type of printing that separates a logo into four color values (CMYK) by the use of filters and screens. Small dots of these colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) are printed at different angles on the product to create the printed image. Exact PMS Color matching is not available on Four Color Process Printing. Results may vary in final process printed art due to color of product, light, and variance in monitor resolution.

General Art Information

Artwork will be sized as large as possible or at the designer’s discretion for visual appeal unless otherwise specified.


An art charge of $25.00(G) per half hour may be charged to any orders requiring alterations to artwork. We will contact you before applying any charges to orders.


Artwork is to be submitted in a vector format via email in the form of an “ai”, “cdr”, “eps”, or “PDF” file. All fonts and/or placed images must be included and ‘converted to outlines’ (or curves) prior to emailing.


Art will be held for a period of 24 months. After24 months, art files must be resubmitted.

4-Embroidery

A traditional method of using thread to create logos on fabric material. Logos are digitized, or programmed for an embroidery machine to read, and then stitched directly onto the product.
Setup (Digitizing) Fee: $60.00(G). Setup waived with provided proper DST file.
Run Charge (up to 5,000 stitches):
Run Charge (Over 5,000 stitches): $0.35(G) per 1,000 stitches
Production Time: 15 business days from artwork approval.

Heat Transfer

Process in which individual logos are transferred applying heat and pressure to the product. Suitable for multi-colored runs. Exact PMS Color matching is not available on Four Color Process Printing, as it uses CMYK to achieve a singular/final result and lacks the precision of the Pantone® matching system and color formula mixing process. Results may vary in final process printed art due to color of product, light, and variance in monitor resolution.

Deboss

Depressing a logo into a leather product, or material that mimics leather. Advantages include a subtle, executive look, as well as resistance to weathering. Color Fill is not available.
