Introducing Three New Committees

"The message of the Kaizen strategy is that not a day should go by without some kind of improvement being made somewhere in the company.”
-Masaaki Imai

At HIRSCH, we believe that continuous improvement isn’t just about refining processes - it also comes from multiple, daily efforts to progress as a team, strengthen our company culture, and make a meaningful impact on our community. That’s why, this year, we’re doubling down on our commitment to Kaizen with the launch of three new team-led committees. Each one was created to help drive our steps towards positive change and teamwork, whether it’s through sustainability, workplace culture, or acts of service.

Green Team Committee:

Not only is green our color, it’s a core part of who we are as a company. Our Green Team Committee is dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices throughout our organization. From implementing eco-friendly initiatives to finding new ways to minimize waste, this team is all about making a lasting difference for our planet.

“Having a dedicated group ensures that green initiatives are not just passing trends but become a central part of the company's culture and operations. A green committee empowers a company to not just talk about sustainability but to take meaningful action that positively impacts the planet and boost employee morale.” – Julieta Anciso, Committee Leading Member

Kaizen Council Committee:

A great workplace doesn’t just happen - it’s built through recognition, collaboration, and a shared desire to continue learning together. The Kaizen Council’s mission is to foster a positive and inclusive environment by celebrating milestones, championing employee-driven ideas, and bringing people together through team-building initiatives.

“Kaizen Council was created to preserve a fun work environment for the HIRSCH team through recognition, team building, and employee engagement. I feel that this council will be pivotal in our efforts to help break down barriers between departments. It’s exciting to be part of a team that gets to highlight employees who go above and beyond.” – Jorge Herrera, Committee Leading Member

Community Impact Committee:

Giving back is one of our guiding principles at HIRSCH, and our Community Impact Committee was formed to find more ways to follow through on our commitment. This team will organize volunteer programs, spearhead community engagement opportunities, and create ways for employees to make a continuous difference in our community.

“Our council means a lot to us because it gives us the opportunity to go out and make a difference while bringing together people with different perspectives and a shared goal. It’s also a way to show the community that HIRSCH is committed to making a positive impact, both in and outside of our industry.” – Ricky Gomez, Committee Leading Member

A key aspect of Kaizen is making small daily improvements that lead to significant impact, which is exactly what these committees will achieve with teamwork. By embracing this mindset, they’ll be a driving force in keeping our momentum moving forward.

Stay tuned for updates on their initiatives, and if you’re part of the HIRSCH team, consider getting involved - because when we work together, we all move forward.
